About: Small mammals population increased lots of years ago. Deer mice were the most common small mammals. It helped the ecosystem aeration and speed dispersal and as it prey for larger animals. Now, with global warming increasing, they struggle to survive in this warm temperature, and we cant replace the deer mice with any other small mammal. So the ecosystem is changing a lot. The decline in small mammals species during this period contributed to a 30 percent decline in biodiversity. Already two small mammal species are extinct.

Why is it important: This is important because we can see how global warming can get rid of many species because they cant adapt to the new climate and in a future many other animals will become extinct because of our actions of not taking care of the Earth.

About: This article is about a wedding taken place in Japan, where for the first time ever they used a robot as a priest. This robot is called the I-Fairy, made by a company called Kokoro, the same company that made the character Hello Kitty. The bride was working in the Kokoro company and that's why they used it in the wedding. The couple was pleased to use this robot at their wedding. This priest is controlled by a man in a keyboard so it doesn't do anything crazy while the ceremony and it was also programed before use, just in case. Now, they are selling these robots for 68,000 dollars!! There are only 5 of these robots in the whole wide world.

Why is this important? It is important because we can see how much technology has grown. Every time we take a step, it is closer to a modern, future world. By this we can know that the future will be full of modern things made only by technology.

About: The Pakistani Taliban wants to go global. They sent to the United States a voice-message saying that they will take revenge from the bombing on Iraq. They already sent a little attack to New York putting bombs inside of a car, later they called and said they were the responsible. In Spain, they caught 12 members of the Taliban putting bombs inside of the subway.

Why is This Important: It is important because we have to be protecting our country. And be careful because if they conquer us we will have less education, less rights, and respect as we have now. Also because this can be a serious issue and it can affect not only the US but all the countries and cities in the world. We won't have again what we got now and there will be a pandemonium.

About: A 10/year/old girl was stung by one of the most deadliest jellyfish of all the world. This jellyfish is called a box jellyfish. This can kill an adult in 4 minutes, doctors say it is a miracle that Rachel is alive. This jellyfish did not just sting her it enveloped all of her body and would not let go. She could not see or breath, the creature wrapped its tentacles very tight and knocked her unconscious. Doctors have never seen anyone that has been stung so badly to survive. Then the doctors first saw her they said it was so horrific she should not be alive. After several weeks in the hospital Rachel still aches very badly besides all of her scars, she also lost her memory. 

Why we think this is important: We think this is very important. Because you have to be careful when you are in the costs of the coral reef. Jellyfish can be really harmful. And it impact us that such a young girl survive all of this. We cant imagine the pain of those stung and the feeling to be trapped in a jellyfish ahnd you cant breath! WE are thankful for doctors that can help many people with their problems especially this little girl, were glad she did not die.

About:A 24 year old Joshua-Frederick was arrested for committing child abuse to his 4-year-old
girlfriend's son. It is said that he was kicking him and punching him, and at the end he burned him. His girlfriend was in the situation during a short period of time, trying to protect her son, but she got hit too. The investigators say that she is also guilty for this situation because she left her son alone with Joshua, knowing he was a little aggressive.
 Why is this important: This is important because you can see how the world is changing so much negatively that there are violent abusers everywhere.This article also shows that you have to be careful with who you choose to be in a relationship with and you should get to know them better before committing to a child.

About: This article is about a woman that is believed guilty for the murder of her daughter Caylee. It is believed by investigators that she was killed by drugs. This drug is called chloroform. They found these drugs in the trunk of the car with`some decomposed rests of human. The mom said that she didn't touch the car one single time after the disappearance daughter Caylee. Some inmates communicated with the mom by letters. Investigators ask for those letters. They figure out that maybe, the one that killed the daughter isn't her mom.

Why is it important: This is important because we think that all kids should be loved by their mother and you should never kill them.

About: Five juvenile delinquents were killed by drug dealers because they tried to steal mariguana from them. These five boys sneaked in their house and stole marijuana. But the drug dealers discovered them and wanted to kill them for robbing them. They put them inside a truck and started to ask lots of questions about their families and personal information. Then they shoot all five of them. These drug dealers were caught by the police, and were put in a lie detector. But these drug dealers were very clever and made the police believe it was not the, so they were sent free. 30 years later the police found out it was them are now in prison with a 5 million dollar bail.

Why is this important: This is important because it shows us that there are bad people out in the world and you never know if you are talking with a drug dealer, so you have to be careful who you trust. Also do not ever try to steal from drug dealers that is not a smart choice. You'll have serious consequences including death and you may put your life at risk.

About: it is about this couple that was riding home from a birthday party with their baby and the mother was pregnant. Suddenly a gang called "Los Aztecas" started shooting at them, killing the mom and the dad, but the baby was unharmed but was really scared. The gang also killed another family that had a similar car as the first victims that also  came form the same birthday party. The family of  the first couple said that the couple did'nt have any bad records, and that they were going to miss them a lot.

Why is it important: this article is important because you can see how anyone can be innocently killed and you should always be careful.

ABOUT: Now, scientists are unlocking a mystery of the medical studying, the stuttering. Scientists was thinking: What does make people stutter? One day in New England Journal of Medicine they find out a virus that make people stutter, make people can't talk fine and normal. People think that genetics take a big role here. Some researchers think that therapies can be a cause, too. Researchers are sure of one thing: stuttering is a problem with neither social nor emotional origins. But today, we are researching still about the genes of stuttering.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: It is important because it teach us that all kind of problems can be resolve if you get patient and time. Humans are able to do everything we want but not get involved to much. It is important because people's health is always a mystery and something for us to open.

BIAS: People can find out medicine to cure that big problem and less locked things to resolve. One of every sixty people have stuttering. I think that if we continue resolving this, the speaking of everybody would be good and understandable.

About: A little orphan from Haiti was lucky when a couple from California decided to adopt her. She, and also the parents were very eager to take her home, but she needed to have a Visa. The Visa was due at the month's end. Unfortunately the earthquake stroke two weeks before the couple came to take the little girl. It was a big earthquake, so all of the little kids in the orphanage were affected by the earthquake. Fortunately, none of the kids were hurt or killed. Now, the couple is waiting for the chance to go and take her daughter home. As the father sais, his only with is to have his little girl home with him and his wife.

Why is this important: This is important because it shows how much you can do for little kids who need a home or a family. Also, from this you learn that nothing is impossible if you really want to make it happen.

Bias: We think that this was a right action from the couple because yo see how much they care for children they don't even know and that a lot of other people don't even know they exist.
